MeatingUp is free to use. This page explains the ways the site may earn money and how we label each of them.

Affiliate links

Some pages may link to products sold by other companies. If a link is an affiliate link and you buy through it, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Pages with affiliate links show a short notice before the first link. At the time of writing, MeatingUp is not a member of any affiliate program, so no link on the site earns us money.

Advertising

MeatingUp shows ads served by Google AdSense, and we earn money when they are shown or clicked. Google chooses the ads, not us, and they are marked as ads by Google. We do not review or endorse the products advertised, and an ad never means we have tested a product. How Google uses cookies for ads is explained in our privacy policy.

Sponsored content

If a company pays us to feature a product or write about it, the post or recipe will carry a “Sponsored” label at the top naming the sponsor. Sponsors don’t get to approve our cooking instructions or food-safety information.

Our own products

We may sell our own meal plans and guides. They are clearly marked with a price, and checkout is handled by an outside store, so we never see your payment details.
